If you were to divide your customers up into those who pay with currency and those who barter, you would likely adjust your prices downward for barterers and upwards for cash.

Everything is done through banks now with restrictive business hours, transaction fees, etc.

What are our responsibilities as programmers in relation to fixing the global economy from the bottom up (building tools, streamlining transaction systems)?
