Here are some of the tasks associated with BarCampBoston3 and who will be performing them. The person in parentheses has been nominated as backup in case the primary person gets.... errr "Hit by a Bus" as they say.

Master of Ceremonies - kicks off the plenary session in the cafeteria with the "Rules of BarCamp" and then rides herd on the short round robin intro and session pimping. Shimon Rura, (probably... Bryan Del Vecchio)

Master of the Session Grid - makes sure the session grid is up and potential presenters play by the rules when posting sessions to the grid. Jay Neely, ( need a backup/reliever so Jay can go to the bathroom/lunch etc.)

Registration and Schwag Guardian - All things related to the registration of attendees and the distribution of Schwag . Sooz - she stills needs a couple of helpers. Email her at sooz at sooz dot com or send a DM on twitter to @sooz

Food and Beverage Master - Make sure the appropriate quanities of cold and hot beverages are ordered and distributed. Makes a head count around 11:00 am each day and places the vital pizza order. Josh Ain has volunteered for Sat. and he will need helpers on Sat. Josh will not be able to make it on Sunday so we need a volunteer FoodMaster for Sunday.

Code Competition - Kishore

Set-up Team - arrive at 8:30am on Sat. and makes sure everything gets set-up before the big registration rush occurs. (Brian Olson lives near by and volunteers to wake up early on Saturday Morning. Clean-up Team - puts out trash barrels and polices up the venue before, during and after the event. Volunteers needed!

Equipment Loaning

Mike Walsh's Pledge of Equipment Security:

I (Mike Walsh), will be in charge of most things physical at BarCampBoston3 including security. Because this is a high school, our security will be tight. Only one entrance, a Cambridge policeman on site at all times, some paid staff constantly roving the venue, on and on. Bottom line is that I'm confident enough with our security measures that I'm will to issue the following guarantee:

I, Michael J. Walsh aka TheMikeWalsh, due hereby guarantee that if any equipment you loan BarCampBoston3 is lost, damaged or stolen, I will personally replace the item.

Equipment still needed:

We need 1 more projectors for the breakout classrooms... we have 5 classrooms.

We would like to have 4 projectors/screen sets for the cafeteria and common areas.
