BarCamp Boston 7 (April 7th & 8th, 2012) will bring together hundreds of the Boston area's brightest and most motivated software developers, engineers, inventors, students, and entrepreneurs. (BarCamp Boston 6 had approximately 700 attendees.) By sponsoring BarCamp, you'll be helping this community in a very visible way.
No overhead: BarCamp Boston is run by volunteers who aim to create a wonderful event for all who choose to participate. There is no cost for participants (though voluntary contributions are requested) and, thanks to the generosity of sponsors like you, we provide free breakfast, lunch, snacks, and T-shirts. When you buy a sponsorship, you're contributing directly to this experience. And we want you involved at the event, too. That's why all sponsors receive special sponsors-only shirts to be worn by your representatives at the event. It lets everyone you meet know that your company has stepped up as an important supporter of BarCamp.

Sponsor Benefits
All sponsors receive:
- an 8.5"x11" color-printed sign with your logo or message posted next to the central schedule
- space on the wall for job postings and a badge to indicate you're hiring
- inclusion on our Sponsor Job Opportunities page, a regularly-updated roundup of jobs available from BarCamp Boston sponsors, promoted to the greater Boston tech community throughout the year.
- a logo and link on http://www.barcampboston.org
Silver sponsors, from $500, also receive:
- a special sponsors-only shirt, to help you stand out at BarCamp
- signs posted at the breakfast or snack tables indicating your support
Gold sponsors, from $1000, also receive:
- three special sponsors-only shirts, to help you & others from your company stand out at BarCamp
- logo and link in the Gold section on http://www.barcampboston.org
- an extra link & recognition in the online schedule attendees will be checking throughout the event
- sign posted in the Gold section of the sponsor wall
- signs posted at the lunch tables indicating your support
Platinum sponsors, from $2000, also receive:
- five special sponsors-only shirts, to help you & others from your company stand out at BarCamp
- logo and link in the Platinum section on http://www.barcampboston.org
- an extra link & recognition in the online schedule attendees will be checking throughout the event
- sign posted in the Platinum section of the sponsor wall
- sign posted at the registration desk thanking you for making the event possible
Sponsorships are Flexible
If you'd like to contribute an amount over $1000, we can work with you to find a set of sponsorship benefits that meet your objectives while staying in the spirit of BarCamp. Please note that under no circumstances is the exclusive attention of BarCamp participants for sale. Anyone, sponsor or not, is welcome to promote themselves with a talk or demo, but participants are not likely to watch advertisements when they can easily attend or create a different session. If you're a sponsor, the BarCamp organizing team will be happy to lend you our expertise so you can participate in a way that respects BarCamp and satisfies your goals.

- Sponsors-only shirts will be available in a variety of sizes at the registration desk on a first come, first served basis
